Protecting and Strengthening Civic Space in Cyprus
The project is implemented within the framework of the BUILD program and aims to protect, promote and widely recognize the fundamental rights and values of the EU, through the support of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and strengthening their capacities and sustainability.
Anna Lindh Foundation
Civil Society Advocates is a member of the Cyprus Network of the international organisation Anna Lindh Foundation that promotes multicultural dialogue and civil society in the Mediterranean region.
Collaborations
Civil Society Advocates has a consistent collaboration with other organisations in Cyprus and abroad.
In Cyprus, our main partner is the NGO Support Centre.
In Europe, our main partner is the European Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ECNL). ECNL is an international organisation working on empowering civil society through creating enabling legal and policy frameworks in Europe and in other regions.
Civil Society Advocates has also established a close and long-standing collaboration with representatives of the Expert Council on NGO Law of the Council of Europe’s Conference of International Non-Governmental Organisations.
